Oregon Behavior Company specializes in providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to individuals with complex behavioral needs. Our mission is to promote meaningful growth through practical, compassionate, and evidence-based strategies tailored to each individual we serve.
What to expect: Using a collaborative and individualized approach, we will:
Conduct a functional behavior assessment, which includes gathering information to understand the purpose a behavior serves, and develop meaningful, skill-based goals
Create a treatment plan that that prioritizes safety by building accommodating environments, and teaching new skills based on each person’s learning style
Provide practical support strategies for parents/caregivers, aligned with each family’s strengths and preferences
Coordinate care with other professionals involved in your child’s care, including speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, educators, and medical or mental health professionals

OBC’s team of BCBAs have expertise in:
Supporting individuals who communicate through behavior (e.g., aggression, self-injury)
Promoting safety and skill-building related to elopement and property disruption
Creating individualized safety strategies for home and community settings
Building trust and engagement with individuals who have a history of treatment resistant behaviors
Increasing tolerance for essential routines, transitions, and unexpected changes
Expanding functional communication and reducing frustration
Addressing sleep and toileting needs
Supporting access to medical and dental care through preparation and desensitization
Fostering independence in activities of daily living
Collaborating across disciplines for individuals with co-occurring diagnoses and/or complex needs
Who We are
The founder, Lindsey Cohen MA, BCBA, has worked in the field of ABA since 2005. She earned her BCaBA in 2010 and became a BCBA in 2013. Her career began in Los Angeles, California where she worked in home, school, and clinic settings and received training from leading experts in the field. After relocating to Portland, she served as Clinical Director of an intensive behavior clinic, further developing her expertise in supporting individuals with high behavioral needs.
In 2023, she founded Oregon Behavior Company with the goal of delivering high-quality, compassionate ABA services through a small company model that prioritizes individualized care over large caseloads. In her current role, she continues to work directly with clients, alongside a team of dedicated BCBAs.

OBC serves families across Yamhill County and the Portland metro area, with services available in-home and via telehealth.
